Mid-rise living isn’t for everyone. If you’re looking for some of the highest views new Toronto condos have to offer, here are a few pre- and in-construction projects currently selling on the market that you may want to check out.

YSL Residences

Developer: Cresford Development Corporation
Height: 85 storeys
Priced from: $459,900

This towering fin-shaped building designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates and architectsAlliance is growing right in Ryerson University’s backyard. These luxury residences located near Yonge and Gerrard Streets might not be student budget-friendly, but the future 1,106 residential units will sit atop a nine-story mixed-use podium reserved for retail, commercial and university space.

The One

Developer: Mizrahi Developments
Height: 85 storeys
Priced from: $2,159,900

Live among the clouds in The One. Said to be Canada’s tallest tower, this staggering building by Mizrahi Developments at Yorkville’s Yonge and Bloor Streets is home to units as large as 6,137 square feet. The top six floors are reserved for multi-level penthouses whose floorplans are totally customizable, right down to the number of rooms. There’s no helicopter-taxi pad on the roof of this building (that we know of), but you’re so high up you could probably high-five an F-15 Eagle from one of the penthouse terraces.

The Residences of 33 Yorkville

Developer: Cresford Development Corporation
Height: 71 storeys
Priced from: $3,389,900

The party never stops in this luxury tower-duo. The eighth floor Sky Lobby is packed with amenities and social areas to keep you and your guests entertained: A state-of-the-art fitness centre; a bowling room; an outdoor pool deck with a matching fireside lounge and barbecue area; a library; a wine tasting room where you can chug Cabernet Sauvignon and gaze at the stunning views of Yorkville from high above the ground.

Concord Canada House

Developer: Concord Adex

Priced from: $800,000

If you like baseball, one of the 1,364-units between these two buildings is for you. Set to stand right at Bremner Boulevard and Spadina Avenue, Concord Canada House is positioned a few doors down from the Rogers Centre. If sports aren’t really your thing, at least you’ll be super close to the Harbourfront, Entertainment and Fashion Districts where there’s plenty to see and do.

The Prestige Condos at Pinnacle One Yonge

Developer: Pinnacle International
Height: 65 storeys
Priced from: $795,900

Pinnacle International called shotgun on one of Toronto’s best addresses. When completed in 2022, the Prestige will host 496 units at its distinguished address at 1 Yonge Street. Overlooking Lake Ontario from Queens Quay and Yonge Street, this condo tower presents lakeside living with the ultimate conveniences that come with downtown living.

11 Yorkville

Developer: Metropia, RioCan Living and Capital Developments
Height: 62 storeys
Priced from: $663,990

Ground has yet to break on this Yorkville Avenue and Cumberland Street project, but when built, it will be another luxury landmark to Yorkville’s skyline. Development partners Metropia, Capital Developments and RioCan are planning for approximately 716 units, a proportion of which will be reserved as rentals. Of course, there can’t be a new building in the city’s most iconic shopping district without any retail space — a two-story podium is planned for this mixed-use development.

The United Bldg. Condos

Developer: Davpart
Height: 55 storeys
Priced from: $582,990

Rising from the Maclean-Hunter Building on Dundas Street and University Avenue, comes North America’s tallest architectural heritage development. Condos hosts a bunch of amenities, from the golf simulator, to the video game lounge, to the IdeaSpace, where you can ponder all of universes’ existential mysteries.
