Following the successful sell-out of Ironwood Phase 1, Podium Developments and Building Capital have launched the second phase of the sought-after townhome development in North Oshawa. The release of new lots coincided with an official groundbreaking ceremony, which was attended by community partners, the development team and visitors.

Priced from the upper-$400,000s, this collection of modern ravine towns is located just north of Simcoe Street North and Taunton Road in North Oshawa. A limited number of park lots are currently available, which overlook the community’s private greenspace. Ironwood also features an onsite dog park, yoga clearing, skating rink, community garden, walking trails and a children’s play area — all for just $150 per month in maintenance fees, which includes the cost of landscaping and snow removal.

The 11-acre property is nestled on a private street between Camp Samac and Oshawa Creek in Cedar Valley, surrounded by valley land, dense forest and a winding stream. Despite Ironwood’s pristine natural setting, urban conveniences are never far away — grocery stores, fast-casual restaurants, RONA and Tim Hortons are just down the street. And it’s only a 10-minute walk to the University of Ontario Institute of Technology and Durham College.

Phase 2 boasts three- and four-bedroom townhouses, each with a private garage and driveway with two-car parking, plus either a backyard or rooftop terrace. With 1,521 to 1,865 square feet of living space spread out over three full floors, there’s plenty of room for families to grow and thrive.

The contemporary, open-concept interiors are defined by nine-foot ceilings, large windows that allow for ample natural light, wide-plank wood flooring, kitchen islands and cozy fireplaces (as per plan). Ensuite baths are sleek and minimal, with frameless glass shower enclosures, freestanding bathtubs, dual-sink floating vanities and oversized mirrors (as per plan).

With more than 25 years of combined experience, Podium Developments and Building Capital are well-respected local builders who have successfully completed numerous residential and student housing projects across Ontario.

Be sure to register online for Ironwood Phase 2 and visit the presentation centre, located at 1700 Simcoe Street North, Unit B. Parking is available at the rear of this building. Opening hours are Monday toThursday from noon to 6pm and weekends from noon to 5pm.
