This punchy purple nursery has the best wallpaper

Selecting the color scheme for a nursery can be daunting. Should you choose a white backdrop and bring in pops of color through accessories or go all out with brightly painted walls? Designer Shauna Walton opted for a bit of both when creating this adorable nursery for her clients and their daughter. While shopping for furniture, Walton came across an upcycled area rug in a brilliant shade of purple. She used this as her jumping off point, pairing it with a kaleidoscope-inspired wallpaper in the crib nook. The space is girly and playful, but nearly everything in it can be easily updated if the child grows tired of purple.
