Some have panned Toronto condo architecture for being too bland and boxy — but on the inside, condo units come in all shapes and sizes.

We’re not sure if that’s a good thing.

Case in point: suite 616E at 176 Front Street West, a 250-square-foot triangular condo in Minto Westside Condos.

At Livabl, we come across lots of different floorplans, from a 3D plan for Drake’s Forest Hill mansion to a $10.5 million two-floor Toronto penthouse.

Seldom do we see anything quite like this, which was flagged by BlogTO this week.

Gourmands need not apply, because it’s going to be tough to do much prepping, cooking or even dishwashing with this scant setup. An integrated fridge is a sleek touch. The too-tiny sink and two-burner stovetop, not so much.

You can’t really put your bed there (above).

But maybe here, up against the wall on the left?

Because the condo was only recently completed, nobody has lived here yet — hence the gift-wrapped door — but it will be interesting to see how someone does.

Relative to the overall size of the unit, this one isn’t short on storage room (also, the unit comes with a storage locker). Though you’ve got to wonder if the space couldn’t have been used more efficiently than for a closet.

Maybe the only normal thing about this unit is the four-piece bathroom, which in addition to not appearing any smaller than normal comes complete with a glass-door shower.

Oh, and there is insuite laundry.

The building itself does boast some luxe amenities, including a rooftop pool, and a grocery store is set to conveniently occupy retail space in the podium.

Minto Westside’s downtown address, walking distance from Toronto’s Entertainment District, also means the future tenant(s) are going to have lots of excuses to get out of their place — and that’s probably for the best.
