Baxter on Broadway, an amenity-rich rental community in Oakland’s vibrant Temescal neighborhood, is now leasing.
The 130-residence community features modern apartments, from studios to one- and two-bedroom suites as well as rare and coveted three-bedroom townhomes with attached garages.
“Baxter on Broadway is a perfect combination of community and location,” says Jonathan Figone, District Property Manager at Legacy Partners.
The apartments in the five-story development range from 436 square feet up to 1,342 square feet while the townhomes are each roughly 2,700 square feet in size. Many of the apartments include private balconies, and every residence has designer finishes and fixtures and in-home washers and dryers.
In addition to the diverse range of suites, the community boasts a long list of private amenities for residents to take advantage of.
“The property is well-appointed with exclusive amenities such as a rooftop with a club room and BBQ pit, a bocce ball court, vegetable garden, dog run and pet grooming station, and a low-emission vehicle charging station in the secure parking garage,” Figone notes.
Nearby, residents will find even more amenities, as shopping and entertainment options abound in the area. Across the street, there’s the recently opened Shops at the Ridge, which is conveniently home to a Safeway. And Baxter on Broadway is within walking distance of the Claremont Country Club.
Temescal itself is one of Oakland’s oldest neighborhoods and has recently become known for its restaurant scene and upscale shopping.
Though leasing began just weeks ago, Baxter on Broadway has caught the attention of prospective renters from all over the Bay Area, Figone suggests.
That shouldn’t come as a surprise due to its location. Given its proximity to two BART Stations, Oakland and Berkeley, and offering easy access to highway 13, Baxter on Broadway has obvious appeal for commuters.
Baxter on Broadway is being developed through a joint venture between award-winning companies SRM Development and USAA.
Well-established real estate firm Legacy Partners, which manages more than 60 multi-family communities across the country, will act as property manager.
