Homebuyers who missed their chance to buy at ONE Water Street’s East Tower in downtown Kelowna now have the opportunity to own a lake view condo or townhome in the development’s final building, the West Tower. Fifty per cent of the homes are affordably priced under $500,000. These luxurious residences are steps away from the shores of Okanagan Lake, boast incredible views and offer residents a grand amenity area in “The Bench.”
On Saturday, May 26th, the public is officially invited to attend the West Tower sales event at the Presentation Centre at 1001 Manhattan Drive in Kelowna from 1pm to 4pm. The mixed-use community, by Kerkhoff Construction Ltd. and North American Development Group, features two high-rise residential towers and retail space.
The 29-storey West Tower will offer 201 studio to two-bedroom plus den homes, ranging in size from 551 square feet to 2,105 square feet. Residents can take in the beautiful views from the grand balconies, which are more spacious than those in the East Tower. The West Tower will also include a larger proportion of one-bedroom plus den homes to meet the demands of purchasers.
Designed by internationally-renowned Kasian Architecture, ONE Water Street’s two buildings will be constructed with a combination of concrete and glass. Both towers will be built to visually “rotate and stretch” as they rise, allowing 80 per cent of the homes to have unobstructed balcony views of the lake and Kelowna’s iconic William R. Bennett Bridge. The two towers will also sit atop a three-storey podium structure that connects the two buildings, allowing the entire complex to be fully above ground.
Built with modern spaces for day-to-day living and entertaining, the homes will be bright and inviting with convenient features and finishes. Condos boast floor-to-ceiling wrap-around windows, plank engineered hardwood flooring throughout the main living areas, and ample storage options. Perfect for entertaining guests, the kitchens are complete with large-scale quartz countertops with sleek quartz waterfall chef islands, custom built-in wine storage and a KitchenAid gourmet stainless steel appliance package. Luxury continues in the spa-inspired bathrooms, which are outfitted with a tub/shower combo in the main bath and polished chrome faucets and showerheads.
At ONE Water Street, the first three storeys will boast a parkade, surrounded by commercial space. The fourth level is an elevated 1.3-acre landscaped area called The Bench, which offers private indoor and outdoor amenity space for residents to access. Outdoors, homeowners can take a dip in one of two pools, relax in the hot tub, play a game of pickleball at the court, or invite friends over for a barbecue on the patio. Instead of buying a gym membership, homeowners can exercise indoors at the private health club, complete with a yoga/pilates studio. An entertainment room is available for celebrations and guest suites are accessible for overnight visitors.
Along with the selection of retail along the ONE Water Street streetscape, homeowners will have access to a wide array of amenities in Kelowna. With the beach in your backyard, residents can take a three-minute stroll to Tugboat Beach, and engage in many water sports from boating to kayaking. From the beach, residents can walk or bike along the shore or boardwalk to Waterfront Park or City Park. Filled with an abundance of dining options, residents will have a variety of cuisine to choose from in Kelowna. In addition, entertainment won’t be hard to find as Prospera Place, the city’s largest concert venue, is down the street from ONE Water Street.
