A little rain didn’t stop the ceremonial first shovel of dirt at the groundbreaking event for Aquabella, the third phase in Tridel and Hines’ master-planned Bayside Toronto community. The event was more than just a photo opportunity, as media and guests were also treated to an official first look at Aqualuna, the final condominium development in the 13-acre mixed-use development site.

Conceived by the renowned Danish architecture firm 3XN, Aqualuna features a distinct L-shape design to maximize views and natural light. The luxury condominium is located along the water’s edge on Queens Quay East in the emerging East Bayfront neighbourhood.

Inspired by the family home, 3XN sought to create a vertical neighbourhood that “puts people first.” Scalloped balconies and terraces punctuate the exterior, providing generous outdoor spaces for residents to enjoy. Aqualuna’s two towers were designed with a valley between them to allow for breathtaking waterfront views from each suite.

The interiors, crafted by II by IV, are flooded with natural light, which helps improve overall health and lowers energy consumption. The suites are airy and sophisticated, spanning 821 square feet to 4,622 square feet.

Aqualuna features not one, but two stylishly appointed lobbies. The sixth-floor amenity space overlooks beautiful Lake Ontario and features a fully-equipped gym, theatre room and an outdoor terrace with a glittering pool.

The Bayside Toronto community is surrounded by innovative urban parks and offers easy access to Old Toronto, the Distillery District and the Toronto Islands. Residents can spend the day cycling along the Martin Goodman Trail, soaking up the sun at Sugar Beach, or browsing the stalls of St. Lawrence Market.

Register today to stay up-to-date on the latest news and buying opportunities.
