Greatwise Development’s fresh approach to urban townhome living in Ottawa has been a resounding success. Fresh Towns was launched last fall and after selling over half of the homes in just three weeks, the project’s first phase is officially sold out. Prospective homebuyers are now encouraged to register online or visit the sales centre at 2795 Baseline Road to be among the first to view the homes in Phase 2.

Consisting of a modern collection of urban towns, the master-planned community was carefully thought out right from the concept phase to offer residents the best in contemporary living. The developer used online surveys to gain valuable insight into what buyers are looking for in their new homes. The result is an exciting mix of traditional and rooftop towns with spacious interiors, two- and three-bedroom layouts, and elegant finishes designed to suit a variety of lifestyles from first-time buyers to empty nesters.

Priced from the upper $300,000s, Fresh Towns offers built-in value and is a welcome addition to the growing Ottawa market, where the average sale price of a residential-class property (excluding condominiums) sold in February was $429,600, an increase of 2.7 per cent over February 2017.

“Buyer demand is there, but our inventory in both residential-class and condos continues to decline,” said Ralph Shaw, President of the Ottawa Real Estate Board (OREB). “This is creating a supply side issue in the Ottawa real estate market.”

Fresh Towns offers two collections — Contemporary Towns and Rooftop Towns — with each model equipped with a terrace or patio and parking. The contemporary towns offer a classic three-storey configuration with a garage, utility room and office or den on the ground floor, a spacious main living area on the second floor, and two- to three-bedrooms on the third floor.

The rooftop towns take urban living to the next level with its signature private outdoor rooftop oasis. The expansive terraces offer residents their own personal sanctuary overlooking the neighbourhood, so whether you’re entertaining friends and family or sipping a cup of coffee while enjoying the view, the rooftop terrace is the perfect spot to spend an afternoon.

“Fresh Towns has designs ranging from 1,283 to 1,661 square feet, with prices starting from the upper-$300,000s to the $400,000s, representing excellent value to families, first-time buyers and those considering scaling down,” said Natan Ary, Vice President of Real Estate Development at Greatwise Developments.

The finishes throughout are hand-picked by the team at West of Main and feature fresh colour palettes and high-quality materials. These include engineered hardwood floors, designer backsplashes, stone countertops and a full stainless steel appliance package.
