Citi Habitats officially launched sales at 685 First Avenue, as a batch of new renderings went up on the development’s official website this morning.
Developed by Solow Building Company, 685 First Avenue is currently under construction in Manhattan’s East Side neighborhood and will house a total of 556 units when it is completed next year.
Residences were designed with “pleasing proportions and a sense of purpose,” boasting spacious open-plan layouts. Glorious floor-to-ceiling windows offer stunning views and a wealth of natural light. Ceilings rise more than nine feet, and soar up to 20 feet in select duplex units, while every residence features radiant wood floors.
All duplex residences include a freestanding tubs, custom staircases with solid wood treads, and sweeping views. Select duplex residences feature double-height great room spaces, expansive terraces, and are serviced by private elevators.
Each residence comes complete with sculptural Dornbracht fixtures and a fully-integrated kitchen appliance package by Gaggenau.
Built-in Crestron brand home automation systems offer residents a full array of smart home capabilities, including touch screens that allow residents customize and control lighting, climate, and motorized window shades. Pre-wiring is also included to make it easy to add speakers and televisions for integrated audio and video control.
The East Side neighborhood offers easy access to the East River and water taxis, as well as the heliport. Grand Central Station is a short walk away from 685 First Avenue.
Some of 685 First Avenue’s amenities include private resident storage, fitness center and yoga room, bike storage, a pool and a residents’ “Club Lounge.” The Club Lounge is dedicated exclusively to condo residents and requires special access. It has a wide-screen television, lounge seating and a dining table.
The building also has its own secure underground parking garage.
