Spadina Avenue has always been one of Toronto’s most iconic streets — but it used to look quite a bit different than it does today. In the 1970s and 80s, the street featured smaller buildings and old-school streetcars. While there was plenty of traffic, it was missing many of the prominent structures that define it today.
