Located in Toronto’s vibrant Entertainment District, Nobu Residences by Madison Group has been a resounding success for its sleek design, signature lifestyle and outstanding location. The highly-anticipated development is the result of a partnership between Toronto-based developer Madison Group and the team behind Nobu Restaurants: Academy Award-winner Robert De Niro, Hollywood producer Meir Teper and renowned Chef Nobu Matsuhisa.
Known for its award-winning “new style” Japanese fusion cuisine and luxury hotel offerings, Nobu is one of the world’s most celebrated hospitality brands and is a popular hotspot for international customers, celebrities and tastemakers. Since opening the first Nobu Hotel in Las Vegas in 2013, the brand has expanded internationally with operations spanning five continents. Nobu Toronto now marks the brand’s first expansion into Canada, and is anticipated to be the city’s newest landmark destination.
The 15,000-square-foot restaurant will be located inside the Nobu Hotel atop the west tower and will feature two levels, a signature bar lounge, outdoor seating and chic private dining rooms. The hotel itself offers a well-appointed collection of guest suites with panoramic views, inviting public spaces and exceptional guest services.
Rising 45 storeys above Mercer Street, Nobu consists of two bronze towers designed by award-winning Teeple Architects with interiors by the renowned Studio Munge. Designated as a heritage site, the design of the towers fuses together a modern aesthetic with unique architectural details through the use of the original brick facade from the Pilkington Glass Factory which has stood on the site since the late 1800s.
After the initial launch last summer, Nobu has recently released the exclusive penthouse collection. Situated on the upper floors of the east tower, the penthouses offer a variety of spacious layouts with breathtaking city and lake views. Designed by Studio Munge, each suite boasts premium interior finishes with the finest materials and top quality craftsmanship.
Residents of Nobu will have access to state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor amenities designed to nourish the mind, body and soul. Spanning two floors and connected by landscaped outdoor space, the amenity area features a grand circular glass atrium that draws the eyes skywards, while a tranquil pond provides a relaxing backdrop that anchors the space.
Amenities on the ninth floor include a fully-equipped fitness centre, yoga studio, massage room with an ofuro tub, dry sauna, steam room and a cold plunge pool. On the tenth floor, residents will have access to a conference room, screening room, games lounge and an expansive outdoor terrace with private entertaining spaces called Nobu Villas.
