“It’s truly a momentous occasion when we finally come to the groundbreaking ceremony of a condominium that took so much effort and so many different people coming together and working together to create,” said Zev Mandelbaum, COO of Marlin Spring Developments. “We’re very happy to be adding to the Danforth community, becoming part of the community and we look forward to the final occupancy.”
Designed by Graziani + Corazza Architects Inc., Canvas Condos boasts a modern mid-rise profile with eight storeys of residential units. The building stretches 285 feet along Danforth Avenue and features a sleek exterior design with clean lines and a classic brick and glass facade highlighted by inset balconies. On the south side, a series of stepped terraces transition from the base of the building — adjacent to an existing low-rise neighbourhood — up towards the rooftop terrace amenity space.
In addition to the rooftop terrace, Canvas Condos offers a wealth of onsite amenities on the ground floor including a sleek party lounge for entertaining, a well-equipped fitness centre with a yoga studio, and a pet wash station for your furry friends.
Inside, the suites were designed by renowned interior design firm U31 and feature wide and shallow layouts to maximize space, natural light and views. Most units also have patios or balconies for outdoor enjoyment.
