DevMcGill has announced the launch date for the second phase of its Ateliers Castelnau condo project in trendy Mile-Ex. On Saturday, November 25th and Sunday, November 26th, VIP registrants are invited to the Ateliers Castelnau sales gallery for the unveiling of Phase 2. Those in attendance will be among the first to discover new floorplans, and will have access to VIP pre-launch pricing and other special promotions. The event is a rare opportunity for buyers to reserve their units before the public launch in 2018.
Formerly the site of the Institut des Sourds-Muets de Montréal, the five-phase condo project will feature four brand new buildings, in addition to the preserved 1920s Beaux-Arts building. Ateliers Castelnau will include 310 units in total, ranging from affordably-priced studios to family-sized three-bedroom suites.
Details on Phase 2 are still under wraps, but a handful of studio, one bedroom, two bedroom and three bedroom suites remain in Phase 1. Designed by Provencher_Roy, the modern six-storey building will boast underground parking with electric car charging stations, storage and bicycle spaces. There will also be a stylish lobby with comfortable seating areas, plus a bike repair workshop and multifunction space, where you can soup up your fixie or refurbish a dated piece of furniture with spray paint. Occupancy for Phase 1 is scheduled for spring 2019.
Located near the corner of Saint-Laurent and Rue de Castelnau, the multi-phase condo project is a short stroll from foodie favourites like Dinette Triple Crown, Manitoba, Le Mile-Ex and Marconi. There are plenty of hip bars and cafes nearby, including Bar Alexandraplatz, Dispatch Coffee, Brasserie Harricana and Salon Teashop. Grocery shopping is made easy, thanks to Ateliers Castelnau’s proximity to Marché Jean-Talon and Provigo. The De Castelnau metro station is a two minute walk from the entrance of the development, connecting you to all corners of the city.
Don’t forget to register online for the Phase 2 VIP launch on November 25th and 26th. Prospective buyers can also visit the Ateliers Castelnau sales gallery, located at 65 de Castelnau St. West. Opening hours are Monday to Thursday from noon to 7pm and on weekends from noon to 5pm.
