Tribute Communities’ latest low-rise development is one step closer to completion as the Pickering-based developer has officially broke ground at the Towns at Rouge Valley. Yesterday’s event took place at the construction office and was attended by Tribute staff, senior management and construction and business partners. Just steps away was the project site where construction crews are busy preparing the grounds for excavation.
When completed, the master-planned community will consist of a contemporary collection of townhomes situated on quiet, private streets and cul-de-sacs. The family-friendly community is situated within minutes of some of the city’s finest urban and natural attractions, but will have limited traffic to ensure a relaxed and safe environment for all.
The development’s namesake — Rouge Valley Park — is right next door and boasts over 40 square kilometres of wetland, wilderness, farmlands, fishing areas and a sandy beach. Located at the entrance of the park is the Rouge Valley Conservation Centre which offers a variety of activities for families, schools and community groups including kids camps, interpretive walks and educational programs.
Another nearby attraction is the Toronto Zoo which houses over 5,000 animals representing over 450 species. At 710 acres in size, the zoo is one of the largest in the world and offers interactive activities, children’s rides and educational exhibits.
Residents will also enjoy a wealth of local amenities from great shopping and dining at the Scarborough and Malvern Town Centres to educational institutions like the University of Toronto’s Scarborough Campus and Centennial College. Plus, with convenient access to TTC routes and GO Transit, the Towns at Rouge Valley is ideally situated for easy commutes to downtown Toronto and other parts of the GTA.
Priced from the low $500,000s, homes at the Towns at Rouge Valley are available in three distinct collections featuring modern exterior architecture, cohesive colour palettes and landscaped surroundings. Inside, they feature bright and open floorplans that are perfect for entertaining friends and family. Kitchens are available in a variety of layouts and designed with functionality in mind with plenty of prep and storage space. Upstairs, plans include master bedrooms with luxurious ensuites, spacious secondary bedrooms for the kids and convenient dens or home offices as per plan.
With construction now underway, be sure to visit the newly opened sales office for the best selection of homes. It’s located at 9390 Sheppard Avenue East and open Monday to Thursday from 12pm to 7pm and weekends from 11am to 6pm.
