Women donning frilly fascinators and floral-print dresses posed for photos in front of classic Rolls-Royces, while men sporting polka dot bow ties and brightly-hued suspenders sized up the wine and cheese offerings under a marquee tent. At first glance, you’d be forgiven for mistaking North York for the French countryside.

On Saturday, September 30th, Concord Park Place hosted a garden party to celebrate their latest condominium development, Saisons. Guests strolled through a grassy clearing lined with tall hedges as they perched on park benches, enjoying the afternoon sun.

The music was provided by a string quartet, and waiters dressed in smart waistcoats served a variety of gourmet foods, including cured meats, artisan cheeses, mushroom crêpes and French macaroons. Sommeliers poured glasses of vin rouge, and offered pairing suggestions to curious guests.

The photobooth was also a popular attraction — those who strutted their stuff in front of the camera are now in the running to win a trip to France. The photos from the event have been uploaded to Concord Park Place’s Facebook page, and the contestants who receive the most ‘likes’ in the “Best Hat Contest” and the most ‘loves’ in the “Best Dressed Contest” will each receive a trip for two to France, valued at $10,000 for each prize. Voting is open from now until October, 19th, 2017 at 11:59pm.

Of course, guests also had the opportunity to get a first look at Saisons, the newest addition to the Concord Park Place master-planned community. The development will include one bedroom, one bedroom plus den and two bedroom layouts that range from 693 to 898 square feet.

Each unit is equipped with a generously-sized balcony, dubbed the “outdoor living room,” with composite wood decking and woodgrain soffit ceilings. Residents will be able to use their balconies well into the fall thanks to radiant ceiling heaters and built-in lights.

Saisons is defined by its lush, tranquil European gardens. An English garden with a modern sculpture and a sunken lawn area is the perfect spot for playing a round of bocce ball or croquet.

There’s also a French garden with a hedge maze and a charming terrace that offers outdoor dining tables, barbecues and comfortable seating. A drive court at the entrance of the building boasts a stunning water feature and benches for residents and guests who are waiting to be picked up.

If you missed out on the Saisons garden party and would like to learn more about the project, be sure to register online to stay up-to-date on the latest news and purchasing opportunities. You can also visit the Presentation Centre at 1001 Sheppard Ave. East in North York.
