Graywood Developments Ltd. has officially broken ground on Fish Creek Exchange, a new master-planned multi-family community in southwest Calgary. The event was held at the development’s presentation centre earlier this month. The project represents the last great Fish Creek Park address available to new-build purchasers.
Offering a connected lifestyle, the 9.5-acre development is steps away from one of Canada’s largest urban parks, Fish Creek Provincial Park. The multi-phase community, which will be built in phases over the next seven years, will feature two- and three-bedroom townhomes and one- and two-bedroom condos, ranging in size from 600 to 1,700 square feet.
Perfect for first-time buyers and families, the condos and townhomes boast open-concept layouts with high ceilings and designer-selected finishes. The chef’s kitchens include an Energy Star-rated stainless steel appliance package, plus homeowners can choose from a range of quartz countertops and contemporary cabinetry finishes. Residents can unwind in the refreshing bathrooms, equipped with a custom-designed vanity with undermount sink, a single-lever faucet and a premium quartz countertop.
Homeowners can enjoy scenic views of the neighbourhood from their balcony or terrace (as per plan), complete with privacy screens to take advantage of indoor-outdoor living. Condos include secure underground parking, while townhomes have an attached two-car garage. For added convenience, the development also offers a bicycle room and private storage lockers.
Situated in Shawnee Park, residents can stroll to Fish Creek Park to enjoy the stunning landscape. The free park offers hiking and bicycle trails and is open all year long. The park also provides access to the popular beach at Sikome Lake.
Transit and urban conveniences are also close at hand at Fish Creek Exchange. Amenities include grocery stores, cafes, restaurants and health services. The Fish Creek-Lacombe LRT station is steps away, which residents can use to easily travel to the downtown core. By hopping on the the citywide transit system, residents can easily access McMahon Stadium, Southcentre Mall and Chinook Centre.
Prices at Fish Creek Exchange start from the mid-$200s. For more information visit the presentation centre at 99 Shawnee Common SW in Calgary. Opening hours are Monday to Thursday from 2pm to 8pm and weekends from noon to 5pm. To learn more, click here to register.
