The public launch is on Saturday, June 10th, from 12pm to 5pm. But if you want to skip the line, a limited number of Insiders Tickets are available between noon and 5pm at the Tannery this Friday. Just register at barracondos.com for more info.

Barra on Queen, located at 399 Queen Street South, is yet another example of Kitchener’s ongoing revitalization, one that has drawn world-class tech companies, including Google, to its downtown core.

This 113-unit boutique community is not only close to thriving downtown businesses, but also sits on tree-lined Queen Street directly across from the sprawling 24-hectare Victoria Park.

The park provides unparalleled access to lush green space dotted with colourful flower gardens and picnic grounds and featuring its own lakeside restaurant.

Beyond the stylish lobby, residents and their guests will find on-site amenities such as a gym with outdoor exercise area, exterior patio and barbecue area, a flexible event space with a TV, kitchenette and private bathroom and even a guest suite for overnight stays.

Each residence at Barra on Queen will be traced with top-quality finishes throughout. Suites feature quartz kitchen countertops, granite bathroom countertops, high-grade laminate flooring within the livingroom and bedrooms and ceramic tiles in the kitchen, bathroom and storage space.

One-bedroom units start at $299,900 while two-bedroom units are available from $374,900 and up. Suites range from 647 to 1,081 square feet in size.

Nearly all layouts feature a balcony or terrace, as per plan. There’s also an optional tech package that will provide Nest camera and thermostat as well as Hue lighting.
