A new neighbourhood is set to take shape at the junction of Mount-Royal and Le Triangle. Westbury Montréal by Devmont will include condos, amenity spaces, shops, restaurants, recreational facilities and even a hotel. The transit-oriented community is surrounded by lush greenery, including a 40,000 square foot park with meandering pathways and stone benches.

The master-planned project is a convenient five-minute walk from the Namur metro station. From there, the metro will whisk you downtown in only ten minutes. Westbury Montréal is also steps away from Royalmount, a $1.7 million mega-project that boasts a shopping mall, hotels, offices, movie theatre and concert hall.

Westbury Montréal will feature 550 condominiums spread throughout six, ten-storey buildings. The first tower, which includes 112 units, was launched to the public on Saturday, May 6th. “This initial phase is expected to be ready for occupancy by early 2019, and the entire residential development will be completed by the end of 2022,” said Marc Lefort, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Devmont.

Potential buyers are invited to choose from 3 ½, 4 ½, 5 ½, and luxurious penthouse suites, which are priced from $207,750. Interiors will be characterized by floor-to-ceiling windows, stone countertops, sleek cabinetry, stainless steel appliances and energy-efficient features.

The residence offers elegantly-designed common areas, such as the state-of-the-art fitness centre with weight training equipment, cardio machines, a lounge area and rooftop terrace. Perfect your downward-facing dog in the great outdoors, or sprawl out on a lounge chair after a vigorous workout. The party room is ideal for entertaining large groups, with dining tables, comfortable seating, a chef’s kitchen, billiard table and an inviting outdoor terrace.

Westbury Montréal is currently the largest redevelopment project in the city, at a cost of $250 million. The 370,000 square foot site was formerly home to the Armstrong flooring factory, which shut its doors in 2010. “The project presents an attractive investment opportunity, as the area is anticipated to become one of the most sought-after neighbourhoods on the island of Montréal,” said Lefort.
