A pedestrian looking eastwards on Bathurst Street Bridge in the 1980s would’ve had a pretty clear view of the horizon, minus the CN Tower. Today, walls of glass and steel greets the eye.

The condo boom, which has seen the massive CityPlace condo community rise from the former rail lands, is largely to thank for this groundswell of development.
