Last month, BuzzBuzzNews had the opportunity to tour the brand new presentation centre at 1451 Wellington Street by Sam Mizrahi in Ottawa. Designed by the renowned Brian Gluckstein, the expansive sales centre was built to match the grandeur and elegance of the project and impressed with beautifully furnished vignettes and replicas of the development’s common areas.
Now the public is invited to see the opulent spaces for themselves at the grand opening event, taking place on-site this Thursday, May 11th from 6pm to 10pm. Guests will be welcomed with valet parking, live entertainment and delicious hors d’oeuvres. Champagne will also be on hand as they explore fully furnished replicas of the lobby and entertainment room along with kitchen and bathroom vignettes.

Special guests include interior designer Brian Gluckstein, project architect Henry Burstyn of Page + Steele / IBI Group and Sam Mizrahi, real estate developer and founder of Mizrahi Developments. The trio will be in attendance to answer questions and to present their creative vision for the landmark development.
Designed by Toronto-based Page + Steele IBI Group Architects, the 12-storey midrise boasts a timeless exterior inspired by classic Ottawa landmarks like the Parliament buildings, Supreme Court and Chateau Laurier. The use of high quality masonry, floor-to-ceiling windows and a copper mansard roof give the structure an old-world charm while adding to the ambiance of Ottawa’s sought-after Wellington Village.
Hints of old-world architecture are echoed inside where interior spaces feature ten inch thick walls, architectural mouldings and designer details like four-hinged doors.
Priced from the mid $400,000s, the suites at 1451 Wellington offer bright and open concept living spaces with nine to ten foot ceilings, LED recessed lighting and premium finishes.
