Following the high demand for phase one of Via Bloor earlier this year, Tridel is launching the community’s second tower, Via Bloor 2, sooner than expected. Designed by architectsAlliance, Via Bloor 2 is a 45-storey tower with a rounded exterior, giving residents an excellent view of the city in all directions. The tower is scheduled for a 2021 completion.
Sitting steps away from the TTC’s Sherbourne and Castle Frank stations, the development is located near several of Toronto’s leading hospitals and downtown colleges and universities including Ryerson, George Brown and U of T. The two-tower community is also across from the Don Valley and Rosedale Ravine systems, meaning residents can still get their nature fix while living downtown Toronto.
Residents of Via Bloor 2 will be just around the corner from esteemed neighbourhoods like Yorkville, Rosedale, the Danforth and Cabbagetown, providing convenient access to transportation, specialty shops, fine dining and entertainment.
The well-appointed suites, which have been designed by II by IV, have Energy Star high efficiency front loading washer and dryers, smooth ceilings, energy efficient dishwashers and a selection three designer packages with two-tone kitchen cabinets featuring contemporary style doors.
Via Bloor 2 will also showcase its new Via Bloor Signature Collection, which starts on the 40th floor and includes suites ranging from 950 to 1,360 square feet. The collection boasts high-end features such as natural stone or quartz slab kitchen backsplashes, frameless glass shower enclosures with chrome hardware and plank engineered hardwood floating floors to all rooms and hallways. Suites in this collection range from $865,000 to $1,300,000, along with two luxurious two-storey penthouses that start at $2,760,000.
Spread out over 26,000 square feet inside and out, amenities in the Via Bloor community include two elegant lobbies with 24 hour concierge, an outdoor pool and terrace, games room, party room, fitness centre with a spin and yoga studio, spa lounge, theatre room and retail space that will act as an extension to the famed shopping along Bloor Street.
