Sales at ParkCity, a new four-storey condo community in Burlington, have reached 90 per cent as the local market continues to gain steam.

The Tobyn Park Homes community’s milestone has been reached at a time when market observers are predicting another big year for real estate in this increasingly popular corner of Southern Ontario.

On average, prices for dwellings (including condos) in the Hamilton-Burlington area soared 20 per cent year-over-year to $535,520 in 2016, according to RE/MAX.

The real estate franchisor expects further growth this year. It’s calling for average sale prices to near $600,000 in 2017, making ParkCity an affordable option with suites starting well below that mark. For pricing info, contact sales@parkcityliving.ca.

Affordable prices don’t equal below-market offerings at ParkCity. Residences at the community, which is located near Walkers Line and Upper Middle Road, are smartly designed. Each features a patio or balcony, as per plan, and large windows, granite countertops, stainless-steel appliances and nine- to 10-foot ceilings.

The chic, boutique-inspired community wraps around a sprawling two-acre park where you’ll find a paved pathway, rolling lawns, benches, pergolas and tasteful landscaping.

The central green commons is just one of the amenities to be found within ParkCity. It counts club-style offerings such as a fitness centre, media lounge, party room and dining room with chef’s kitchen as additional amenities.

A stylish lobby, the work of renowned Toronto-based interior-design firm U31 is sure to make an impression on residents and guests alike. The latter will be able to take advantage of a hotel-like guest suite for overnight stays.
