Phase One townhomes at Station House sold out quickly, and it looks like the 24 additional residences released on January 15th won’t last long either. After just one weekend, most have already been snapped up by buyers interested in eco-friendly living in West Oakland.
Located in Building 10 and Building 14 at Station House, most of the recently released homes will have two bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. Many will come with an exciting main-floor “flex space,” and some will be entirely unique in the community. All together, Station House will have 171 homes, and approximately will be released in future phases.
All homes will have a variety of “green” features, from high-efficiency lighting to high-performance appliances and materials. What’s more, homes will include solar power, meaning that residents will not have gas bills and will be able to reduce their electricity bill by as much as 80 percent. Together, those components will make Station House one of the planet’s most energy-efficient new home communities.
Station House’s West Oakland location is also incredibly appealing. BART’s West Oakland station is an easy walk, bike ride or bus trip from Station House, and from there it’s only seven minutes to downtown San Francisco. The I-880 on-ramp is less than five minutes from the community by car, and Mandela Parkway is just two minutes away by bike.
