Interior designers know a thing or two about holiday decorating. For them “the most wonderful time of the year” is an opportunity to flex their creative muscles with large scale projects, featuring 12-foot Christmas trees and intricate lighting displays.

This year’s Ontario Power Generation Winter Festival of Lights in Niagara Falls is no exception — five celebrity designers and five student teams from the Humber College Interior Decorating program have been chosen to adorn ten venues for a new ticketed event, the Deck the Falls Holiday Walking Tour. Last weekend, BuzzBuzzHome took part in the festivities, where we had the chance to speak to two designers, Christine Dovey and Kasia Waloszczyk, about their stunning hotel lobbies and how to recreate these looks in your own home.
