Since launching in 1976, Losani Homes has built thousands of homes throughout southern Ontario and has become known for its sought after master-planned communities, like Augusta and Falling Waters. The developer’s latest endeavour, Central Park, is one of its largest and most ambitious. Inspired by the famous New York City landmark, the expansive multi-phase community will consist of over 1,100 homes, walking trails, lookouts and a five-acre ‘central’ park.
To celebrate the upcoming sales launch, Losani hosted a special New York-style evening complete with hor d’oeuvres, cocktails, live entertainment and a stunning fireworks display.
During the evening, Fred Losani, CEO of Losani Homes, unveiled an eye-catching, illuminated LOVE sign, similar to artist Robert Indiana’s popular LOVE sign in Manhattan. The 12-foot sculpture is customized for the community and cleverly incorporates both an ‘I’ and an ‘O’ allowing it to be read as either ‘Love’ or ‘Live’.
“I have always been amazed by the foresight of Central Park in New York,” said Losani. “To have the vision to create such a protected natural environment in the absolute centre of such urbanity was what we wanted to duplicate at Central Park Hamilton, and we have achieved this in every respect.”
Located in the Upper Stoney Creek area along Rymal Road East, Central Park is within walking distance to local amenities like a Super Centre, SilverCity Cinema, restaurants, parks and schools. It’s also just minutes away to downtown Hamilton, Oakville and Mississauga thanks to easy access to the Red Hill Valley Parkway, Highway 403 and the QEW.
Also nearby is a wealth of natural green spaces including the 78 hectare Eramosa Karst, filled with underground caves, streams and endless meadows and forests. Of course, as the waterfall capital of the world, Hamilton is also home to over 120 waterfalls including Centennial Falls, Albion Falls and the famous Devil’s Punch Bowl.
Within the community, each phase is divided into four neighbourhoods named after prominent New York City neighbourhoods. Park Avenue is the first phase and will feature a collection of freehold townhomes from the low $300,000s, and detached homes from the high $400,000s. Furture phases include Madison, SOHO and Midtown comprising of freehold towns, three-storey urban towns, singles and midrise condominiums.
“We feel Central Park Hamilton offers incredible real estate value,” said Losani. “Beautiful designer homes located in a safe, warm and welcoming full-service community with prices a third of Toronto in a market poised to explode, is an opportunity not to be missed.”
