Ahead of a grand opening event, award-winning builder Granite Homes has released a limited selection of third-phase townhomes in southern Guelph at its Gallery Towns community.

This release, which comes before the Gallery Towns grand opening slated for November 5th and 6th, includes desirable walk-out units, each including a master balcony, private deck and private patio.

At the forthcoming grand opening at 60 Arkell Road, two model homes are scheduled to open as workers make considerable headway on the construction on the community’s first four blocks.

These stylish model homes will showcase a corner unit as well as an interior unit. The latter will come complete with the upgraded elevator option that buyers can choose to have installed.

The models will also display something that comes standard with all Gallery Towns: modern design. The facades feature distinct black or grey clay brick, Maibec wood siding, stucco build-out and sleek metal cladding, all staples of contemporary modernist style.

Already, these homes, which start at the high $400,000s, have received praise for their striking design. In 2015, the Guelph and District Home Builders Association named Gallery Towns the Most Outstanding Multi-Unit Home.

The interiors are no less impressive. All Gallery Towns will house spacious 2,100-square-foot open concept layouts with nine-foot ceilings on the ground and main level.

The three-bedroom townhomes boast two full bathrooms — including a spa-like ensuite with frameless glass shower and dual sinks — and a powder room, as well as luxury finishes, such as the granite counters found throughout. The sizeable interiors will be bathed in light from large windows.

There’s also ample room for parking. Every townhouse includes an attached garage with one additional parking space.

Guelph, a city of more than 120,000, has all the amenities you’d expect from an urban centre of its size, from big-box retail to restaurants and cafes. There’s a thriving arts community, too, and a number of independent bookstores, galleries and more. Residents who need to get to Toronto can simply jump on the 401 for easy access to the province’s capital.
