The showcase is scheduled to run from noon to 5pm Saturday, August 13th, and Sunday, August 14th, at The Vanguard’s shiny new presentation centre at 7089 Yonge Street by Grandview Avenue.
Those who attend will have a chance to learn more about the 25-storey condo community, which features larger family-sized residences — some are up to 3,920 square feet — as well as numerous sustainability-focused features.
For example, once The Vanguard is completed, residents will find green amenities such as a living wall in the lobby, community vegetable gardens on a sprawling, 7,000 square foot tree-dotted terrace, and several Tesla chargers.
This weekend, attendees can take a moment to check out the presentation centre’s model suite, which puts the potential of the building’s larger-than-average units in perspective.
Designed by II BY IV DESIGN, the model suite shows how a one-bedroom-plus-den at The Vanguard is spacious enough to be used as a two-bedroom suite.
A design-forward murphy bed in the model suite’s den suggests how these suites can be outfitted to accommodate a child’s room.
But beyond getting an in-depth look at all The Vanguard is bringing to Grandview, guests will also be able to enjoy complimentary offerings from two popular food trucks: Heirloom is preparing locally sourced, organic eats, and Toronto Softee will be on hand with ice cream and frozen treats.
Prices at The Vanguard start in the low-$300,000s at a time when the average detached home in this upscale neighbourhood sells for $1.81 million.
