City Ventures is well on its way to bringing Solera Ranch, a new community of 14 single-family homes and 62 townhomes, to Morgan Hill. Priority presales are happening now for preapproved buyers, and those interested in the development can sign up here for updates.
Spacious townhomes will range in size from 1,521 to 2,427 square feet and will be priced from the high $500,000s, while single-family homes will be between 2,128 and 2,996 square feet, with prices starting in the mid-$700,000s. Homes with up to five bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms will be available.
A big draw is that all homes at Solera Ranch will be built with City Ventures’ all-inclusive “Green Key” technology. Designed to save energy and reduce power costs, homes will have high-efficiency lighting, water-wise mechanisms and many more environmentally-friendly features. They’ll also be constructed using lumber-saving beam and header systems.
Solera Ranch’s location is key to its appeal as well. Morgan Hill offers the intimacy of community with local events such as farmers markets and summer movie nights, and is also not far from the bustle of city life — it’s just a short drive from San Jose and Silicon Valley, and is an hour from Santa Cruz and Monterey.
