An early construction milestone has been reached at Kingston&Co Condos, a 10-storey Upper Beach condo development from TAS and Main and Main Developments — and the Toronto-based developers have a high-flying drone video to prove it.
Contractors have installed the hoarding surrounding the site of the forthcoming community, located on Kingston Road just east of Victoria Park Avenue, and excavation work is also halfway complete.
Slick 360-degree aerial footage gives a unique perspective of the site, which is just minutes from the green Martin Goodman Trail and sandy Kew Beach, showcasing not only progress but also the locations convenient proximity to retail amenities.
What isn’t visible at the moment, but will be upon the building’s completion, is Teeple Architects bright, modern design that will help Kingston&Co Condos stand out in what’s already a vibrant community.
A clean white rectilinear facade adorned with large windows will define the structure’s north side, which also incorporates retail at grade along Kingston Road. To the south, the building recedes towards the lake creating a stepped profile and room for open-air terraces.
Inside, Kingston&Co Condos will boast numerous amenities, such a fitness studio, yoga studio, car wash, pet wash, workshop and tool room.
The structure will be topped off with a 5,000-square-foot rooftop garden, providing an in-house alternative to a stroll to Kew Gardens.
Where bulldozers can today be seen tracing the foundation in the drone video will soon be the location of a convenient underground parking lot.
For a limited time, TAS is offering up to $20,000 in savings on homes at Kingston&Co Condos.
Prices at the 146-unit development start at $214,900, with suites — all of which come with a terrace or balcony, as per plan — ranging from 420 square feet up to 1527.
