The two Ontario builders behind the project have enlisted Toronto-based firm RAW Architects to the handle the project’s design, and the first exterior rendering release depicts a clean modern exterior of mostly glass.
However, towards the base, RAW have made use of bold charcoal-coloured brick, a treatment which can be seen scaling the height of at least one side of the structure.
The facade is also hung with spacious balconies overlooking the surrounding neighbourhood, which itself is just one of the draws of the Bennett on Bayview.
The community is dotted with parks, and just minutes away from the the Bennett on Bayview is the upscale shopping of Bayview Village, as well as the manicured greens of the Bayview Golf and Country Club.
Getting beyond the immediate area is a breeze, as the area is well connected to mass transit via nearby Finch Station, and Highways 401, 404, 407, and the Don Valley Parkway are all close, too.
Johnson Chou Inc. are designing the interiors, and suites — some will be family-sized, the developers say — will include stainless steel appliances, laminate flooring throughout, and stone countertops.
The Bennett on Bayview is currently in the preconstruction phase and occupancy is expected to begin in winter 2018.
