Spring is here and with it, the city of Burlington is bustling with activity as it thaws out.

It goes to show that each spring, ParkCity dwellers will be able to take advantage of numerous attractions that come to life as the trees, once again, begin to bud and the mercury rises.

Not far from the four-storey, 165-unit condo development, Burlington Bay, also known as Hamilton Harbour, provides the perfect place to spend a day on the water.

Along the the shores of the bay, you’ll find the docks of LaSalle Park Marina, home to the Burlington Sailing and Boating Club, the Dofasco Waterjet Plaza and Playground, sandy Beachway Park and the 10,000 square-foot Rotary Centennial Pond that oscillates between pond and skating rink.

Further inland, Brant Hills Park features tennis courts, a soccer pitch and a baseball diamond, and is the site of Burlington’s annual kite festival, which will celebrate its 25th anniversary on June 5th.

For golf enthusiasts, Burlington has more than its share of fairways, greens and sand traps. It is home to a number of golf courses, including Indian Wells, a 6,402-yard course just up Walkers Line from ParkCity Condos, Burlington Golf and Country Club and Hidden Lake Golf Club.

If hiking is more your speed than a stroll down the back nine, Burlington’s Bruce Trail and Rattlesnake Point Conservation Area provide sweeping vistas of the majestic Niagara Escarpment.

Those who enjoy staying outside even while staying in will no doubt enjoy ParkCity’s expansive balconies, which provide plenty of room for furniture and stretching out. Of course, nestled between its three residences, the community itself also offers two rolling acres of private park space flecked with pergolas and benches, living up to its name.

With green space in mind, ParkCity Condos also goes a way to reduce its carbon footprint via its geothermal heating system. It draws warmth from the ground, creating near-zero carbon emissions along the way.

Prices at ParkCity Condos begin at $224,990, and units range in size from 540 square feet all the way up to 1,147 square feet.
