Located on the site of a former Canada Post building in Toronto’s desirable Leaside neighbourhood, construction at the Upper House Condos is now underway. When completed in 2017, the seven-storey mid-rise by Knightstone Capital Management Inc. will further enhance the neighbourhood’s appeal by introducing 66 luxurious residences to the sought-after area.

BuzzBuzzHome News dropped by the site last week to check out the latest progress.

After officially breaking ground last fall, crews spent the following two months demolishing the existing building, leveling, and preparing the ground for construction. Today, the project is all set for the next phase with heavy machinery ready to start shoring and excavation. This process is expected to take approximately three months as workers dig down two levels of underground parking.

Designed by Chase International Consultants in Design Inc., the seven-storey mid-rise will house 66 units which include 12 two-storey townhomes. Prospective homebuyers have a wide choice of layouts to choose from ranging in size from 435 square feet to 1,509 square feet.

However, no matter which layout you choose, each suite comes well-appointed with luxury features and finishes including nine foot ceilings, pre-finished engineered hardwood flooring, quartz countertops, an integrated appliance package and a gas line on the balcony or terrace. Bathrooms also impress with quartz vanity tops, soaker tubs with chrome faucets and frameless glass showers as per plan.

Residents will also have access to several on site amenities including a fully-equipped fitness studio, rooftop terrace with integrated barbecue and prep area, outdoor lounge with fireplace and a dog spa. More entertainment space is available inside the residents lounge which comes complete with a full catering kitchen, dining area, fireplace, large screen TV and access to an outdoor patio garden.

Suites at The Upper House start from the $300,000s. To learn more about the development, make sure to register online or call the sales office to book an appointment.
