Slated for completion in 2021, the Eglinton Crosstown LRT is one of the most ambitious infrastructure projects Toronto has ever seen. Spanning the north end of the city, the 19 kilometre light rail line will run west to east from Mount Dennis to Kennedy Station, with connections to the Yonge-University subway line. Not only will the Crosstown LRT significantly cut transit times along this busy corridor, but it will also bring new retail, commercial, and residential developments to many neighbourhoods along the route.

Located at 18 Ferrand Drive in the east end of Toronto, Sonic Condominiums by Lindvest is one of these developments. In addition to being close to an exciting array of urban amenities including the Shops at Don Mills, Real Canadian Superstore, the Ontario Science Centre and the Aga Khan Museum, the project will offer residents convenient access to the future “Science Centre” stop of the Eglinton Crosstown at the intersection of Don Mills Road and Eglinton Avenue East.

“It’s a fantastic location at a major city hub, which is poised for incredible growth,” said Joseph Alberga, Director of Sales and Marketing at Lindvest.

“Steps away from the upcoming Metrolinx Eglinton Crosstown Station, and next door to the DVP, it makes it an unbelievable opportunity to be well connected to the downtown core and all Toronto has to offer, minus the congestion.”

When completed in 2019, the master-planned community will consist of two modern towers and a collection of townhomes designed by the award-winning Page + Steele IBI Group Architects.
