After nearly a year since pouring the first foundation slabs in March 2015, The Code Condos hit a new construction milestone last month. The new condominium by Lifetime Developments and BLVD Developments officially topped off as crews finished pouring the concrete slab on the 10th floor mechanical penthouse.

BuzzBuzzHome News dropped by the site this week to check out the latest construction progress and to snap some photos.

Slated for completion in June, construction on the Hariri Pontarini Architects-designed mid-rise is progressing quickly. Outside, you can really start to see the contemporary glass building start to take shape with exterior glazing now installed up to the fifth floor. Elsewhere on site, the crane is still up but will soon be disassembled and crews hope to have the structure fully sealed and enclosed within the next two months.

Inside, framing work has started on some of the suites including the collection of townhomes that line St. Clair and Parkwood Avenue. These two-storey units boast spacious floorplans and big bright windows to enjoy the surrounding park and neighbourhood views.

Up on the higher floors, the suites are still open to the elements but offer spectacular views of the city. On the south side, residents will have unobstructed views of the Toronto skyline, Sir Winston Churchill Park, and Casa Loma, while those facing north will see the manicured streets and elegant homes of Forest Hill.

The developmentā€™s amenities are all located on the second floor and will include a gym, terrace, pet spa, and lounge designed by the renowned interior design firm, Tomas Pearce Interior Design Consulting. Of course residents of The Code will also have a wealth of local amenities including grocery stores, retail boutiques, restaurants, and the St. Clair streetcar right outside their doors.

Although the project has already sold out, Lifetime Developments has several exciting new projects for sale including The Bond Condos, Bisha Hotel and Residences, and Whitehaus.
