The median rental price for a one-bedroom in Seattle was $1,600 in December, according to the latest report from Zumper. That number is down three percent from the previous month, but Seattle still held onto its ranking as the 10th most expensive rental market in the country.

Though rents in Seattle were up 1.3 percent year-over-year last month, the past quarter in particular has seen the market soften for one-bedroom apartments. However, two-bedroom rents climbed 1.3 percent from November to December with a new median price of $2,280.
