Known for its portfolio of condo projects in downtown Toronto, Diamante Development Corporation is launching The Diamond Condominiums on Yonge, a high-rise residential community in burgeoning North York.

“It will mark the skyline with presence, character — and drama,” says Julia Di Lorenzo, Diamante’s president, of the project. “It will be a jewel on a park.”

With a facade of shimmering glass and bright white metal, The Diamond Condominiums on Yonge will rise 30-storeys above North York’s City Centre, an urban area with easy access to retail, green space, and mass transit (North York Centre, Sheppard, and Finch subway stations are all nearby).

“North York has become a highly sought after community in which to live and work,” says Di Lorenzo.

The Diamond Condominiums on Yonge’s northern Toronto site at 75 Canterbury Place has a WalkScore of 95 — or “Walker’s Paradise” — meaning residents won’t need a car for day-to-day activities.

Not only that, the community’s list of amenities ensures there will be many reasons for residents to stay on site: among them are a theatre, high-ceilinged party room, games lounge, and library boasting a fireplace. And that’s just on the ground floor.

Directly above, residents will find a fitness centre, yoga studio, sauna and terrace, and outside, a private park, green gardens, and a courtyard will be located.

The Diamond on Yonge will house 386 units ranging from 439 to 950 square feet, with prices starting at $268,000. One-, two-, and three-bedroom suites are available.

Diamante Development Corporation projects future residents will start moving in by January 2019.

This February, the Diamond Sales Centre will open its doors. Until then, a temporary sales centre has been set up at Suite 703 inside the Yonge Norton Centre at 5255 Yonge Street.

The temporary storefront’s hours are 11am to 6pm Monday to Saturday and Sunday and after hours by appointment only.
