After a successful preview opening for pre-registrants on November 7th, the presentation centre and model suite at Picnic Condos is now open to the public. To learn more about the project BuzzBuzzHome News visited the site for an exclusive tour of the new space.

Located at 2114 Bloor Street West, Picnic marks the second phase of North Drive’s sought-after High Park Community after the launch of The High Park Condos in 2013. The eight-storey mid-rise was designed by renowned architectural firm Quadrangle Architects and features a contemporary exterior facade clad in classic red and white brick and grey accent panels. Combined with the use of expansive glass and outdoor spaces, the modern aesthetic is a natural fit within the High Park neighbourhood.

Amenities at Picnic include an inviting lobby appointed with warm tones of wood, stone, and brass accents, a fully-equipped gym, and stylish party room with kitchen. More amenities are situated on the spacious rooftop terrace where you’ll find an outdoor and indoor lounge, double sided fireplace, gourmet kitchen, and a dining area under a trellis canopy. Of course, residents will also be steps away from High Park, Toronto’s largest urban green space, with over 400 acres of lush gardens, cycling and nature trails and picnic areas.

In addition to all the nearby parklands, Picnic offers convenient access to all the shops, cafes, and services available along Bloor Street West and is also just minutes from both the Runnymede and High Park subway stations.

Although the development is already over 80 per cent sold, a wide selection of suites is still available for prospective homebuyers. This includes the beautifully decorated one bedroom model suite inside the sales centre.

Boasting over 668 square feet of indoor and outdoor living space, the model suite is tastefully appointed with contemporary furnishings, neutral finishes and splashes of dark tones and accent walls for a very sleek and sophisticated look.

The unit opens to a bright and airy kitchen with clean lines, stone backsplash and a mix of closed and open upper cabinetry. A modern rectangular pendant lamp acts as a bold centrepiece while illuminating the functional kitchen island which doubles as a breakfast bar or dining table.

The chic interior design continues into the living room where an elegant tuxedo sofa sits opposite a dark-coloured accent wall with a wall-mounted television and dark wood storage cabinet.

Adjacent to the living room is the expansive master retreat that spans the full length of the suite. This luxurious space boasts a large bedroom area with a gallery wall above the bed, a generous walk-through closet with plenty of storage and an exquisite five-piece ensuite with double sinks, stand-up shower and a soaker tub with black plumbing fixtures.

Available suites at Picnic start from $474,990 and feature nine foot ceilings, pre-finished floors, custom kitchen and bathroom cabinets with quartz countertops and stainless steel and integrated appliances.

Be sure to register online and visit the presentation centre and model suite located at 2126 Bloor Street West, open weekends from 12pm to 5pm and by appointment on weekdays.
