Residents moving into The Rosedale On Bloor, a new high-rise condo development from The Gupta Group, will be able to avoid at least one of the hassles that come with settling into a new place: getting the Internet connected.

A new partnership between The Rosedale On Bloor and service provider Rogers ensures unlimited free Internet for a year for all who will come to call the 52-storey mixed-use tower home by the time it opens.

Through the partnership, each resident will be hooked up with Rogers Ignite 250 Unlimited Internet, which offers download speeds as high as 250 megabytes per second, in their suite.

And residents won’t just be able to binge watch Netflix or download iTunes songs from their own homes; unlimited WiFi will be available in all common areas at The Rosedale On Bloor as well, so residents can expect to have full bars on their devices inside their units and out.

Rosedale Suite

This isn’t the first partnership The Rosedale On Bloor has announced recently. Earlier this month BuzzBuzzHome News reported that the tower’s eight-storey podium is poised to house Canada’s first Canopy by Hilton hotel, a boutique chain known for taking cues from its surroundings to reflect local flavours.

So in addition to free internet, the 476-unit development at Bloor Street East and Sherbourne Street will offer residents amenities one would expect at a four-star hotel, such as a sun-splashed indoor pool set in a luxurious space with floor-to-ceiling windows.

Sales at The Rosedale On Bloor, conveniently located near Bloor Subway Station, Yorkville and the downtown core, start in the low $200,000s. Units range in size from 307 to 871 square feet.
