Victoria Common Whitehaven

Each year as the leaves are turning, a colourful procession of floats winds through the streets of Kitchener as part of the annual fall Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest.

It’s the largest Bavarian festival in North America and boasts dozens of cultural events. It’s also one of many family-friendly attractions those living in Victoria Common, a new townhouse development from Losani Homes, will be able to enjoy throughout the year.

Other amenities include museums, 10 public art galleries and even an annual celebration of chess, The Kitchener Chess Festival.

In addition to the fun and games, young families will delight at the accessibility to schools that Victoria Common offers. Margaret Avenue Public School is right across from Louisa Street, plus there’s dozens of grade schools and 16 secondary schools in all The Waterloo Region District School.

Your children won’t have to travel far for higher education, either. The University of Waterloo is just a 10-minute drive, or a 20-minute bus ride, from Victoria Common. Not only is it close by, but it’s also garnered international accolades. Recently, UK firm Quacquarelli Symonds ranked three of the school’s subjects in the top 50 in the world: math, geography and computer sciences.

However, you don’t need a geography major to notice Victoria Commons’ proximity to the necessities of family living. Nor should it come as a surprise. At its root, Losani Homes is a family, too. The father-son duo of John and Lino Losani founded the builder in 1976. In 1985, younger son Fred joined, and as the family puts it, “the Losani picture was complete.”

The Losani Homes family isn’t simply offering townhomes in a community that’s great for young families. They’re providing the best parts of buying a resale home to the new home purchasing process — and vice versa.

Losani Homes’ Pronto Homes On Demand Program lets potential buyers tour new homes before they’re complete. Depending on the construction stage, buyers can choose finishes, personalizing the fabric of their new-build home. And of course, unlike with the resale market, the price and closing date are guaranteed.

The townhomes in the third and final phase of Victoria Common are now available. Prices start at $274,900.
