Smashed Zancor Homes and Lifeline, Lifetime Developments’ charity arm, will be sponsoring this year’s Smashed charity ping pong tournament at Muzik Nightclub on October 16th. The past three events have been hugely successful — last year’s proceeds totaled $100,000, a sum the organizers are hoping to double this year.

Lifetime launched Lifeline last year to help underprivileged youth and medically disadvantaged people in the city. In its first year alone, Lifeline raised $150,000 to support organizations like Covenant House, Second Harvest and Breakfast for Learning.

Lifetime vice president Brian Brown and Zancor Homes president Fabrizio Cortellucci will be co-chairing the event. Members of the committee include Michael Peri, Paul Purewal and Stephanie Ceccanese.

Just a few of the event’s high-profile sponsors include TD Bank, Belvedere Vodka and Rogers. Potential sponsors can choose from a selection of packages including tickets to the event, booths with hostesses and logo recognition on the wall and event material.

Tickets are $150 in advance, $200 at the door for general admission (including an open bar), or $250 for competitors. Head to to purchase your tickets or to make a donation if you’re unable to attend the event.

Fittingly, the event’s dress code is crisp tennis whites. The tournament will be followed by an after-party starting at 9pm.

Lifetime Developments has been developing innovative projects in Toronto and the GTA for decades. A few of their projects include Bisha Hotel and Residences, Whitehaus Condos and The Bond Condos.
