Currently under construction at 501 East 74th Street, The Rose Modern is bringing a contemporary aesthetic to the Upper East Side, more commonly known for buildings with traditional sensibilities. This new development offers something much more current, both practically and aesthetically–while retaining the high attention to fine detail and elegance for which the Upper East Side is known.
The Rose Modern will feature 82 spacious units ranging from studios to penthouses. Of the four penthouse layouts, one is a duplex boasting 2,700 square feet. Over three-fourths of the units will feature one or two balconies and six units have private terraces.
Residents will enjoy a 24-hour doorman, top of the line finishes, gym, yoga room, bicycle room, storage facility and classic city views. Washer-dryers come standard in one-, two-, and three-bedroom units and on-site parking is available.
“We are honored to represent 501 East 74th Street and to establish it as an iconic new destination for living on the Upper East Side,” said Douglas Wagner, director of brokerage service at BOND New York. “The new development will reflect a more contemporary design than the area has seen in decades, with a strong focus on the modern New York lifestyle.”
This is readily apparent in the design of the communal spaces at The Rose Modern. The brainchild of Stephen B. Jacobs Group Architects and Andi Pepper Interior Design, their work harmonizes the traditions of the neighborhood with the needs of the contemporary upscale apartment resident.
The rooftop patio space is the perfect testament to these downtown influences. The patio will have two separate spaces: One will be a serenity deck for sunbathing, relaxing and reading. The other will be more suited to socializing, complete with an outdoor kitchen.
The Rose Modern also features a first floor Tenant’s Club, which will be home to a world-class chef’s kitchen — perfect for private and community enjoyment.
Developer GoldenAsset, LLC has enlisted BOND New York, a leading full-service real estate brokerage firm with seven offices in Manhattan, to market and lease the units in this 20-story rental development.
