After officially breaking ground in the spring, construction at the Brownstones at Westown by Lindvest is progressing well. BuzzBuzzHome News recently dropped by the site to check in on the action.

The biggest change is the addition of the construction crane which now towers over the excavated site. Concrete supports can also be seen on the southeast corner of what will eventually become the development’s underground garage.

When completed in the fall of 2016, the development will house 152 units within its unique stacked townhome design. Exteriors feature a lively mix of quality stone and brick materials creating a sense of depth, colour and texture and provides for an attractive and cohesive streetscape.

Priced from $249,900, the Brownstones at Westown are available in one-, two-, or three-bedroom layouts ranging in size from 568 to 1,220 square feet. The contemporary homes come well-appointed with eight foot ceilings, laminate floors in main living areas and bedrooms, and ceramic tile in foyers, bathrooms and kitchens. The suites also come standard with a white kitchen appliance package, white stackable washer and dryer and one parking spot in the underground garage.

In addition, prospective homebuyers will be impressed with all the outdoor space that comes with every model. Whether it’s a private balcony, covered porch or patio, residents will have plenty of outdoor areas for lounging or entertainment.

Located in an established neighbourhood in north Toronto, The Brownstones at Westown are close to parks, shops and other amenities. Nearby parks and recreational centres include Summerlea Park, the Carmine Stefano Community Centre, and the Oakdale Golf and Country Club. And with easy access to Highway 400, 401, and the Sheppard Avenue TTC bus line commuting downtown couldn’t be easier.

To learn more about the Brownstones, be sure to visit the sales centre and model suite at 2277 Sheppard Avenue West, open Monday through Thursdays from 1pm to 8pm and weekends from 11am to 6pm.
