Following a successful VIP launch in May, initial sales at East United Condos have revealed a huge demand for smaller, more affordable units in downtown Toronto. To meet this demand, developers SigNature Communities, Berkshire Axis Development and Andiel Homes have redesigned some of the layouts to make way for three brand new floor plans priced from $239,900 to $290,900.
The new floorplans include a 425 square foot studio, a 440 square foot one-bedroom and a 470 square foot one-bedroom corner suite. The redesigned layouts bring the total unit count to 289, up from 279. Check out the new floor plans below.
The Giannone Petricone Associates-designed tower features modern architecture utilizing metal, brick and glass materials, but also pays homage to the area’s past by preserving and incorporating the historical Christie, Brown & Co. Stables building into its podium.
When completed in 2018, East United Condos will rise 21 storeys at 95 Berkeley Street in Toronto’s downtown east side — an area seeing a lot of growth with major revitalization projects now under construction including the new Globe and Mail headquarters on King Street.
The development is ideally located near shops, restaurants and bars, as well as many east end landmarks including St. Lawrence Market and the Distillery District.
Amenities include a fully equipped fitness centre with yoga studio, jam room and an impressive rooftop patio with fire pits, cabanas, barbecue, dining areas and a sheltered outdoor theatre.
