Located on the corner of Lansdowne Avenue and Dupont Street in the up-and-coming Davenport Village neighbourhood, Fuse Condos has now surpassed grade.
The development by Neudorfer Corporation will consist of a 27-storey tower on the east end of the site and a 23-storey tower on the west. A Metro grocery store and Shoppers Drug Mart will also be on the site, occupying the historical brick warehouse space on the ground level podium.
BuzzBuzzHome News dropped by the site last week to snap some photos and check out the latest progress the construction crew has made.
Situated on the north end of the site, along the CP Rail corridor, concrete is being poured for the two-storey parking garage. The garage will provide 139 above ground parking spaces for retail customers, while residents will have their own private parking garage underground.
Speaking of retail spaces, we also got a peek inside the old warehouse that will eventually house a Metro grocery store and Shoppers Drug Mart, offering 24-hour convenience for homeowners and area residents. The century old warehouse, which was previously used by GE to assemble televisions, is being restored and its original rustic brick facade preserved to form the podium for the complex.
The west tower, also known as Fuse 2, is still in the early stages of construction with crews doing some excavation work in the pit. There’s also commercial space on the ground floor of the second tower, although a tenant hasn’t been announced yet.
Residents will benefit from lots of outdoor amenity spaces and gardens, as well as over 5,500 square feet of indoor amenities including a fully-equipped gym and yoga studio, activity room, theatre and a cozy lounge and library space.
Sales of the project have been swift with over 85 per cent of suites now sold. However, there is still a great selection of units available starting at $243,400. Make sure to visit the sales centre located at 1401 Dupont Street, at the corner of Dupont and Lansdowne, just north of Dollarama.
