For Toronto’s young urbanites, a condominium isn’t just a home — it’s a lifestyle. In acknowledgement of this belief, Time Developments has enlisted the help of Tanner Hill Associates to create the modern, custom designs for the interior and amenity spaces of Danforth Square.
The nine-storey condo and urban town home development will feature over 8,200 square feet of social and recreational amenity space. “We’re trying to offer something a little bit different than the run of the mill condos that are going up in that area,” said Paul Maggiacomo, founder of Tanner Hill. The party room, for example, will include a round billiards table, wet bar, lounge seating, gaming tables and contemporary lighting fixtures. The adjacent patio will feature stylish furniture and is perfect for barbecuing with friends or enjoying pre-dinner cocktails.
The fitness centre offers cardio and weight training equipment as well as a relaxing yoga studio. There’s also a business centre and a theatre room for screening your favourite films. The tranquil rooftop garden will boast tanning decks, al fresco dining areas and barbecues — enjoy all of this while taking in the the spectacular views of Lake Ontario and the Toronto skyline.
Throughout the amenity areas, lobby and corridors, Tanner Hill Associates chose to integrate a neutral colour palette with a few pops of colour to give the residence a modern aesthetic. Prospective buyers will be able to choose from three standard finishing packages to customize the suite to their liking. Features will include nine foot ceilings, stainless steel appliances, natural stone countertops, ceramic tiles, engineered hardwood flooring and designer cabinetry. “The bathroom vanities are custom designed with a drawer and give the illusion that they are wall mounted,” noted Maggiacomo.
Condos are priced from $179,900 and stacked townhomes from the low $200,000s. Pricing for freehold townhomes will be available soon. Danforth Square is located at 250 Danforth Road in Toronto’s east end, a well-established neighbourhood dotted with retail shops, restaurants, kid-friendly services, schools and numerous parks and playgrounds. The Warden subway station is just minutes away, connecting you to destinations in Leslieville, The Beaches, the Distillery District or downtown.
