ArtShoppe Location, layout and amenities are all critical elements to consider when buying a condo, but house hunters know that it’s all in the details. That’s why Art Shoppe Lofts + Condos is putting special focus on its interiors.

Freed Developments and CD Capital Developments took the unprecedented step of commissioning Karl Lagerfeld, creative director of the iconic fashion houses Chanel and Fendi, to design the lobbies.

Also on the design team roster is the award-winning interior design firm Cecconi Simone. Inspired by the aesthetic of art galleries around the world, designers Elaine Cecconi and Anna Simone envisioned an elegant mix of whites, natural wood tones and various textures for the condos.

The residences will be home to a number of quality design touches. The tower and upper loft suites will be equipped floor-to-ceiling windows, porcelain tiles in the laundry room and pre-engineered hardwood flooring. Other highlights include energy efficient air-conditioning, a stacked washer and dryer with exterior venting and custom-designed solid-core entry doors.

The kitchens will feature contemporary, custom-designed cabinetry in a variety of colours and finishes plus stainless steel microwaves and ceramic tile backsplashes. Cook up a storm with the European-style integrated appliances like the built-in oven and electric cook top.

The glamorous finishes continue into the bathrooms with modern, custom-designed vanities, frameless glass shower enclosures, custom-designed Corian sinks and pearly white fixtures. The recessed lighting above the vanities and the elegant porcelain tile flooring will make your morning grooming experience feel extra lavish.

The building’s sophisticated amenities include an outdoor pool and hot tub with a sundeck and cabana lounges, a rooftop lounge with a barbecue and dining area and even a wine-tasting room.

Step outside and you’ll find that the Art Shoppe’s Yonge and Eglinton neighbourhood is just as desirable as the building itself. A smattering of unique shops, restaurants and amenities like Alma Natural Spa, Au Lit Fine Linens and Zucca Trattoria are all within walking distance.

However, there’s no need to venture outside to access all the creature comforts you crave. The first two floors of Art Shoppe condos will be dedicated to retail establishments, making your early-morning errand run easier than ever.

With prices ranging from $200,000 to $2 million and suites ranging in size from 315 to 1,985 square feet, there’s something for everyone. The building is set for completion in 2019.
