yonge station Pratt Homes is well on its way to building a new development and a strong sense of community at Yonge Station in Barrie’s South End. In late February, the second homeowner dinner was held at Liberty North. It was an opportunity for residents to meet one another and chat with the architect, Ian Malcolm, as well as Ron Baird, who created the public art installations throughout Yonge Station. Watch the video below for more highlights from the event.

Yonge Station is now 80 per cent sold, with a limited selection of condos and an eight plex still on the market. The Union, a 56 unit condominium, has two one-bedroom suites and one three-bedroom. Priced from $226,990, the suites are open-concept and include deluxe kitchen cabinetry. The third and final phase of the development, The Grand Central condominium, has slightly more availability. These one, two and three bedroom suites start at $228,990 and feature a balcony or terrace and underground parking. There’s also a two bedroom, one and a half bathroom eight plex for $251,990.

Located at the corner of Yonge Street and Madelaine Drive, the site of Yonge Station will host 15 sculpture installations by renowned Canadian artist Ron Baird. The Barrie South GO Station is within walking distance, and the on ramp to highway 400 is an eight minute drive away. The surrounding area is replete with schools, parks, restaurants and services — making it easy to stay organized and active.
