Currently under construction at 431 Richmond Street West in Toronto’s bustling Fashion District is the 16 storey Fabrik Condominiums by Menkes Developments.

After what’s proven to be a long hard winter, we’re pleased to report that construction at Fabrik is moving full steam ahead and has significantly progressed since our last visit in May.

FabrikCondos_Construction2 Today, the project has surpassed grade with all shoring, foundation and footings now in place. Columns going up to the second floor are now visible as crews continue to pour more concrete for the second floor decking.

Now that all the concrete formwork on the ground floor is complete, it won’t be long before we start seeing additional storeys added and the exterior precast and glazing installation commence in June. The structure is then expected to top off in August and interior work scheduled to begin in the fall.
