Toronto has just experienced the coldest February on record, but construction is moving ahead at The Station Condos in North York.
We’ve been following progress on the two-tower community by Brandy Lane Homes since the beginning of construction back in 2012. This month, the project has achieved more milestones: the recreational spaces are now framed, and installation of interior finishings has begun in some of the suites, such as engineered laminate flooring, granite countertops and kitchen and bathroom fixtures.
Situated on the seventh floor of the centrally-located podium, The Studio Club amenities area and rooftop recreational facility boasts a state-of-the-art fitness centre, steam rooms, party room, and an impressive infinity-edge oasis pool. Also on this level are the city’s first Urbanas. These indoor/outdoor party rooms will feature designer-decorated seating areas, and can be booked to host barbecues and get-togethers.
On the ground floor, the Townloft suites are really starting to take shape. With the drywall now installed, you get a real sense of the soaring two-storey living room, kitchens and dining room spaces in these open-concept designs that are bathed in sunlight from the large windows. These suites also come with a patio at grade, as well as a French balcony off of the second floor loft.
The two-storey lobby is also starting to take shape, now that the drywall is in place and the resident mailboxes have been installed.
