A vacant three-story building at 709 Grand Street in East Williamsburg has traded for $3.8 million, which probably means that renovations and new(ish?) apartments are coming.
Located between Manhattan and Graham avenues, the 3,750-square-foot structure came with 8,750 square feet of additional development rights, according to the listing. The building had two apartments and one ground-floor retail unit.
EPIC Commercial Realty’s Shay Zach brokered the sale.
“The buyer is most likely going to improve the existing building and enlarge it vertically,” Zach said in a statement.
